This week I am determined to get well so that come race day I am feeling as close to 100% as possible. I went to see the doctor yesterday at the urge of my family. She gave me the all clear to workout this week and run the 50K this weekend. My voice is still low and raspy (read: I sound terrible) but my throat feels much better.
I hit the trails yesterday afternoon to see what would happen. My nose did most of the running on the way uphill but the downhill felt great. It was a gorgeous day in LA. The view on the way down the hill:
